China Development Forum (CDF) 2024
Under the theme of "China's Sustainable Development", this year's China Development Forum (CDF) attracted more than 110 top leaders of multinational corporations, international organizations, esteemed scholars across the world.
During the panel discussion on "Carbon Neutrality and Global Climate Governance", Miguel López shared thyssenkrupp's initiatives and perspectives on this key topic.
Miguel López said: “Green transformation is not merely a choice, but it’s a necessity. Despite the considerable challenges associated with this transformation, there is immense potential and opportunities it presents. That’s why thyssenkrupp has established Decarbon Technologies business segment, consolidating all our green technologies - from renewable energy to hydrogen, chemicals, and cement businesses – as our green industrial powerhouse.”
thyssenkrupp is vigorously driving technological innovation across all our business segments, viewing it as a key lever to achieve climate-neutral objectives for the company, for the customers, and society at large. Equally important is the stronger cooperation along the industrial value chain, which needs collaboration among various stakeholders spanning industries, scientific disciplines, and national borders.
